I can't cook, I don't drink, and I can't read
At the base of the giant illusion magic portal, The Librarians face off against old foes who have brought some surprising reinforcements.
Session 33
We turn to find Agden Longscarf held in place, blood pouring from his face, obviously in excruciating pain.
The Shivver group reveals itself: there is a silver dragonborn, a priest in a turban, a huge wolf-creature with bangles on its arm being ridden by a somewhat-older dwarf. Isabelle, a white & red-eyed dwarven woman, concentrating on her spell on Agden, her hand wounded and dripping blood. Also with them is the shaman rat who previously had a killing blow on Kra'naelen the last time they met.
Combat!
Faring well against their foes (the rat and dragonborn are both down, Isabelle seems heavily wounded, and the priest is not in good shape), the Librarians are caught by surprise at the sound of giant footsteps coming; it almost sounds like dragging a shovel across concrete. It's actually a giant flail being carried by a huge creature. An overly-inflated, abnormally enlarged vestige of Mint, without her shield. A huge creature full of blood in their veins and pouring out in places from ruptures. A sickening smile appears on its face as we hear, "You can leave now, I can take it from here."
End of Raokan's turn. (To be continued!)
Notes for next session:
* Kra'naelen is concentrating on Briya's haste
* Cass is concentrating on Enlarge on Maltheo
* Maltheo has end-of-haste lethargy
* Vicious mockery on priest
* Stasis also on the priest
* Stunning strike on Isabelle
* Some sort of rage condition on Ichobod (the old dwarf)
